My name is Debora Bernhard and I was born on the 24th of March 1973 in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. I am blessed with a natural talent for drawing. As a child I was fascinated by the magic of color on paper and I was fortunate to have my father as a great inspirator and teacher. When I was pregnant with our second child in 2006, my husband and I both decided that it would be a good idea for me to quit my job as a financial administrative assistant and become a stay-at-home mom. It gives me the opportunity to raise my children and also put my talent to use. My motto: "Follow your heart, that's never a mistake"! This site shows a selection of my art work. My paintings are a mix between fantasy and reality. In 1993 I got my first assignment when I worked with chalk pastel. From 1997 I started with watercolor painting and since 2004 I use acrylics.
